One Hundred Citizens Who Will Make a Difference
Forty Members of the Corporal’s Club who give a one-time gift of $1,000 to $10,000 will receive a beautiful alabaster bust of George Washington with a personalized brass plate identifying them as a “Founder” of Alexandria Academy. Their names will also be engraved on the Founder’s Scroll in the entryway of the schoolhouse.
Twenty-Four members of the Captain’s Club who give a one-time gift of $10,000 to $25,000 will be honored along with members of the Corporal’s Club. In addition, they will receive invitations and hotel accommodations for the 2010 Winter Educational Conference of the Fund.
Twelve members of The Mount Vernon Society of Alexandria Academy, who make a one-time gift of $25,000 to $200,000, will be honored along with members of the Captain’s Club. They will also be presented with a fine replica of the sword General Washington carried at Bunker Hill and receive invitations and hotel accommodations for the Winter Educational Conference of the Fund.
Twelve members of the General’s Table, who match or exceed Washington’s gift of $200,000 paid out over five years will hold a seat on the Board of Visitors of The Fund for Classical Education. They will also be honored at a private dinner at General Washington’s Mount Vernon estate.
Twelve Founding Families who pre-pay their scholar’s tuition through high school graduation will receive a 40% tuition discount amounting to savings of between $54,000 and $75,600, depending on the age of their child. They will also be honored as “Founders” with their names engraved on the Founder’s Scroll at the school’s entrance.
Along with these 100 “Founders” the Fund for Classical Education welcomes the support of every citizen who, like General Washington, believe that, "nothing is of more importance then the education of youth."
